Is stars form into black holes during it dieing days, Then is safe to bet on our star going for black holy and at the minimum sucking the first three planets up? in c/askscience@lemmy.world

Even if the sun would turn into a black hole, it wouldn‘t suck earth into it. The black hole would have the same mass so earth would stay on the same orbit.
