Democrats: "Pay transparency laws increase pay for workers across the board!"

Republicans: "YES! Exactly! Finally we agree on something! This is why we fought so hard to block them!"

I guess it's just too late for all those children that viewed porn. The piles of their dead bodies must be enormous!

Excellent defense: "You sent me the packets revealing where all the other players were. If you didn't want me to know they were behind walls why did you tell me precisely where they were?"

Yeah, doing such checks on the server side of things is more computationally intensive but it would solve that problem entirely and you wouldn't need client-side anti-cheat bullshit anymore.

The first rule of network programming is never trust the client. How does anti-cheat software work? By trusting the client.

Because a lack of rest always moves projects forwards with absolutely no problems at all!

Surely they can't all be this dumb.

After a few decades following American politics you'll realize that yes, yes they can all be that dumb.

Just have a general conversation with your most conservative neighbors about basically anything and you'll quickly learn that there's nothing they don't have an opinion on and their level of ignorance is... Impressive.

Like, dude, you're 60+ years old and you think hurricanes are a conspiracy‽ The point where they lost their mind was long ago.

Sooner or later you can't help but wonder if they ever had sanity or they just faked it long enough to have a career/survive until retirement.

No, actually. The current GOP stance on compulsory schooling is, "no". They really don't believe every child should be educated.

I'm not even talking about kids with special needs or "just minorities". They really don't believe in compulsory education. It's considered government overreach.

The ideal GOP educational system is 100% private and only those who can afford it get to go. They couldn't care less about literacy rates.

They want the Bible taught in schools but they don't want kids to actually read it. That would reveal what's in it (liberal stuff everywhere!), after all.

Just use Gentoo. Do it from scratch on the command line without the GUI installer like a pro 👍

At the very least you'll learn how everything works at a deeper level.

The biggest takeaway from this poll is that only 15% of Republicans believe in objective reality.

Chiropractors are not doctors. They're scam artists.

Cracking your back might make you relax your muscles and as a result feel less pain for a short time but medically, it's of no more benefit than taking a hot bath.

If we have black markets for guns like Australia has them I think we'll be in a much better position than we are today.
