Guy in the back is going to get his kneecaps kicked out.

Either a lot more tools got a lot better,

That's what it was. Even the free, open source models are vastly superior to the best of the best from just a year ago.

People got into their heads that AI is shit when it was shit and decided at that moment that it was going to be stuck in that state forever. They forget that AI is just software and software usually gets better over time. Especially open source software which is what all the big AI vendors are building their tools on top of.

We're still in the infancy of generative AI.

They're pushing the schedule ahead as fast as possible because Trump is literally dying. He probably had a stroke and has obviously been getting infusions. It won't be long before they announce, "he had a bad fall."

Forget small phones... I want bigger phones! Why do we keep making phones that appear to be made to appease people with small pockets‽

Bigger screens are better! Give me a great big tri-fold phone with a week-long battery (as long as it's under 10lbs it won't be a problem!). Actually, fuck that: Where are our backpack phones? We used to have them in WW2 and now we have the technology to make them even better!

I want the power to unfurl my monster phone to turn it into a portable 3-monitor gaming rig. Make it run regular Linux too so I can actually automate things and decide where I want to store my stuff (not in Google or Apple's clouds!).

For those that don't know, this is one popular way of laundering money.

The other is real estate (which is how Trump made his comeback from early business failures).

Is there such a thing as a conservative sociologist? Does that even exist? It sounds like a myth, like a conservative professor of ethics (not a self-described "professor of ethics" 🤣)

OP doesn't realize he's an AI.

It's because Wikipedia requires sourcing on claims and Bayer puts in extra effort to get scientific papers removed or "debunked" (find the tiniest, irrelevant flaw and then lobby hard to get it retracted).

The title is all wrong. I actually read this reference-free, made up nonsense article and it actually has nothing at all to say about the Democratic party. It's just a weird stance about Biden being amoral because he isn't pro-forced-birth.

Total garbage.

So what you're saying is that conservatives are once again holding up stop signs when progress presents itself.

It's the real skynet. Hollywood's idea of an evil AI is one that kills all humans. We all know the truth: The most evil AI in reality is the one that maximizes profits.

we need to change batteries every 2-4 years

Wait, what‽ No. We don't need to change batteries every 2-4 years. That's what you do with TV remote controls and temperature sensors, not electric car batteries, LOL!

Electric car batteries are made to last at least 7 years (from a warranty standpoint) but in reality it's more like 10. Not only that but they're not single, gigantic objects. They're made of lots of "cells" so if one of them is going bad you can replace just that one bad cell.

Anecdote: The batteries in my Prius lasted 15 years before I had to replace one of the cells. Then a year later I had to replace another one. A year after that I sold it so I have no idea how the batteries are doing right now but I'm sure another cell would probably need to be replaced by now 19 years in service).

I'd also like to point out that the latest electric car batteries are vastly superior to the ones in my Prius.
