Person drives up and starts bitching at this guy.

His response?

"I have no words." [Throws his hands up]

Lesson here for banks: You're not paying your employees enough!

~$1000 should not be anywhere near enough to bribe your employees! Anyone with access to such systems should be paid accordingly!

...and not stable enough! Not only that but if they're paying $40/hour you can be sure as shit they're never going to raise that rate as long as you work there.

Also, a huge chunk of your paycheck is going to go to useless health insurance and it's not like these companies are banding together to lobby Congress to make it so they don't have to pay for that anymore (by demanding a single payer system).

It's how Republicans (not just Trump) consider someone qualified.

If a treatment relies on advertising then it probably isn't very effective. In fact, there's boatloads of treatments that get approved by the FDA because they meet the minimum standard of "not going to kill someone right away and some folks showed a minor improvement." It doesn't mean they're any good or worth trying just because you heard about them in an ad.

Not only that but doctors know about all the treatments for the things they specialize in. You think they're living under a rock‽ They know about that treatment X that's being advertised everywhere but they also know that it didn't show an efficacy at all at treating your specific condition(s) or they'll know that the risk it carries outweighs the potential benefits.

Doctors know 10,000 times more than you (or health insurers!) do about what's medically necessary and/or effective. If a patient suggests a treatment don't be surprised if the doctor's eyes roll. "Here we go again."

Ads for prescription medications are a huge waste of money and they also waste doctors time explaining why they're not a good idea for all the zillions of patients that "ask their doctor" about them.

Stealing political yard signs? No.

Marking up political yard signs? Yes.

On my way to vote today I saw a trump sign that had "FELON" and "RAPIST" graffitied on it. That's a much clearer message than if there were no sign there.

It was quite respectful, actually... It still very clearly said, "Trump/Vance" it was just given some flair and it wasn't even untrue 👍

I'm not sure what the right solution is in this situation. Clearly, the guy was violating the law by carrying guns (in two cases) yet was also the victim of gun violence. Is the article suggesting that we should let felons carry guns so they can defend themselves?

Seems to me that general gun control would be a more effective measure 🤷

Or at the very least make everyone register and insure all of their guns so they can be tracked down when gun crimes are committed. I'd even suggest that we should require all ammunition include special, unique chemical markers on the inside and make people register that whenever they purchase ammunition.
