Yeah I'm in agreement but it's important to realize that the problem is not the blackout but the issues that it has made even more obvious, that SEO has become a plague and having all info consolidated in one location is a bad. Hopefully the knowledge on reddit can be recovered and we can adapt to the next big way to interact with the internet. I'm not sold on that being chatgpt tho

Does anyone actually care about the bugs though? I've never really been bothered unless they literally break the game (the Skyrim Giants are iconic now lol) I'd say the real problems are completely unfinished games and games that have serious performance issues eg. Battlefield 2042 and TLOU

I thought the whole point of federation was that everything from every federated instance was connected and I only need one account to see every part of it. The fact that federation has been the only discussion since the blackout is not good for the alternatives to reddit. My whole life is tech and if it's this distracting to me I can't imagine any remotely average user being interested. The fact that this was the perfect time to be part of an alternative but the whole experience has mostly just proven reddits "give it a week" response true.
