I haven't used Guix system (as OS) but using it on top of Arch has been... Cool at least?
I can't speak for it's reliability or reproducibility that much since I haven't encountered issues yet. It's hard to grasp, and hard to setup, and needs a lot of time and network bandwidth but it's cool. I like adding my packages to a manifest so I know what is installed and when.

I don't know any. And I don't think creating your own (usable) models is really an option if you're not a pro.

I cannot imagine using anything other than a tiling WM. The same way I cannot stand coding/writing without vim mode. Because I have become so efficient and good at them, things just get done way more quickly.
But if the WM doesn't have that multiplier effect for you, just go tge easy path.

But vim is one of the most powerful text editors ever created. It's so powerful and good that it gets ridiculous. Also, from an ergonomic standpoint, your body will thank you for using vim/neovim

Making a simple, clean website with an ssg (like zola) with only HTML+CSS is an art of engineering imo.
If you want to make a giant website with lots of interactivity tho, I highly recomment nuxt. Much much better than next

It works great in i3config but in gnome I have problems with it.
You can mininize them in their own workspace ( or keep them open in their own workspace) and you will get notifications for them still.
