“Humanity” is a bit too convenient a catch-all. There’s only so much the average person can do with paper bags, paper straws and solar panels. Individual choices have a role, but the scale of the problem requires systemic change IMO.

Governments, corps and a relatively small number of institutions that control energy, industry, infrastructure and policy. If meaningful change is needed, that’s where the focus needs to be.
