Arch Linux is a very good distribution, but I would definitely not recommend it to the public at large.
I think most people should probably use something like Fedora or Mint.
For advanced users, either Arch, NixOS, or Gentoo.
What about using it without a subscription though ? I'm unsure whether this is good or bad for them, it loses them money but it also makes their user numbers look good so idk
