Exactly. There were good comments on that thread already.

Sadly "your local email coop" is very far from being common. Sounds like a fun thing for nerds to do, but I doubt normal folks would be interested in that, over just using one of the big players.

Glad to hear! Good luck :)

Just tested* and it doesn't seem to work, no. I don't know if it's doable though, it may be.

  • Even though I'm a heavy user of that behaviour in Firefox (which now has to be explicitly turned on :/), I've gotten used to just use the left and right arrows (+kitty mod bind) to move around tabs.

Kitty has been my daily driver for quite some time now, I really like it for its rich feature set and extensive configuration.

You can use its goto_tab action with 0 and negative values to get MRU behaviour. See more here: https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/actions/#action-goto_tab

Yeah Mullvad's system is better than Proton's, since the latter asks you to place your username inside the envelope. Mullvad's random token is better in that regard.

More info on Proton's cash payments: https://proton.me/support/payment-options#cash

Disclaimer: I've never paid in cash on either of these services.

I believe proton also accepts cash payments. At least I've seen that in their mail service.

Yep, that's correct! There have been multiple occasions where the guest wins the episode.

I'd say there's a bit of both in Portugal's TM. Sometimes the TM acknowledges the creativity, but if the execution it too off the rules, it doesn't get well rewarded. Other times, creative solutions really bump a player's score.

An interesting detail, though, is that in here, TM contestants are mostly non-comedians, and only four of them are permanent per season, with each episode having a different guest. I don't know how it is in US, but I find it really entertaining seeing well known figures doing silly shit and being creative. The varying 5th seat also brings a nice dynamic, and sometimes some of them then get moved to the permanent cast in following seasons.

Oh what, 5€ per withdrawal? That's crazy!

I know little about English speaking TV, so can't quite help OP, but I gotta vouch for Taskmaster. This show is just incredible. I've only watched a few UK episodes, but I've watched every single one they've made in Portugal (4 seasons out already, 5th in the making iirc). It's peak cheek-hurting laughter content. It's not sophisticated humour or whatever, but it's undeniably funny AF.

A very well visually crafted and laid out criticism to recent cosmetics and what makes Team Fortress 2's style so good.

The dude clearly has strong opinions, but I agree with him.

Tried to submit this post but it gets filtered by the automod so posting here for now.

Posting this from an alt because I'm still locked out of my account.

About an hour ago, we went ahead with the changes on r/MildlyInteresting following overwhelming support from our community. The idea was to go public again, but designate the subreddit as NSFW with a bigger focus on suggestive looking fruits and whatnot.

I was preparing the sub to go live, but just after I switched it to NSFW, I was logged out of my account on every single platform and locked out. I can successfully reset my password, but it will nevertheless not let me login.

Following this, another mod posted our update instead. Right after, the u/ModCodeofConduct account removed the post and flipped the sub back to restricted instead of public. Then, the second moderator was also logged out of their account and locked out. Other mods tried to re-approve the post, one of them was promptly logged out and locked out as well.

A few minutes after, the entire team was removed from the subreddit without any prior communication of any kind. As it stands, at least three of us are literally locked out of our Reddit accounts and the other mods were only removed from the sub.

I honestly don't even have words for this situation right now. No communication, no attempt to seriously answer any of our questions we asked in ModMail, but still going in and removing our posts, literally locking us out of our accounts, removing the entire moderation team, and entirely ignoring the 40,000 people who voted to either take the sub back private, or open it with new rules.

The only thing I can say is that I'm incredibly disappointed and disheartened that the Reddit Admins believe this is the correct way to act.
