How out of the loop are you people? That has been a thing for a while, we've got more than a handful high profile AI religions and cults out there already...

The vast majority of conversations I have with people on a daily basis are on an order of magnitude more moronic than the ones I have with AI. So that also plays a part.
Not really. A mirror shows an actual reflection of yourself. An AI response is a highly curated version of a particular subset of ideas, in fact, the more I think about it the more this analogy straight up implodes.
You make it sound as if every system is perfectly equal, and that all humans are the same, and that nothing we choose or decide matters at all and that the only form of existence is the one we are seeing right now.
Jesus christ if this was a film you'd happily be hooked up to a bunch of tubes in a goo pod pretending you're free.
Yeah you say so but I'm very much not so sure about that.
Calm down, Hitler.
No, I mean, really!
"Sieg heil!"
"Saying that makes you a nazi."
"I don't give a shit what you call it."
Looks like they crossed them with beetroot. Interesting combination if so.
Yes, but no. Yes it's a "super food" in the sense that they are easy to grow and are nutritious and contain almost everything the body needs, but you'd have to eat like twenty kilos a day to survive on them solely.
"Science discovers that a type of repetitive leg movement that propels the body in a sustained motion over a flat surface can have positive health impacts if done for only twenty minutes every day."
I've been saying this for yeeears. People shouldn't be near as afraid of AI as they should be of the people in charge of it.
