Who cares what people imply.
Bring receipts you fucking idiot.

If it was anything more than misinformation, you would be pointing to credible reports, news outlets, proof.

But yes, if Ukraine was committing genocide, then I would want it similarly sanctioned/punished

Just add an autounattend.xml answers file in the iso before installing windows.
I use https://schneegans.de/windows/unattend-generator/

Recently I had to re-install and configure a bunch of software on 20ish machines.
All I had to type during the install was the hostname, and powershell scripts did the rest (granted, those powershell scripts contained all the bullshit to get windows to actually behave and work like a proper OS).

Knowing what lurks underneath old cities the demand for archeologist would absolutely skyrocket.
Great job creation prospects.
And then we get to queue in cars to get coffee. So convenient.
It's just wins all around

I was gonna make up some bullshit quote of cutting red tape to allow the economy to flourish. Cause from the headline alone, it could easily exist or it would be suitably satirical.
But I read the article...

“The Department of Labor is proud to lead the way by eliminating unnecessary regulations that stifle growth and limit opportunity,” Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer said in a statement, which boasted the “most ambitious proposal to slash red tape of any department across the federal government.”

✅ Slash red tape.
✅ Unnecessary regulations.
✅ ✅ That stifle growth.
✅ ✅ And limit opportunity.

Covers all the points I would have satirically made.

Some of you may die, but think of the 📈 stonks

Every legal demand starting with "IANAL, but..."

Wait, why does George takei attract magas?
Or is he just a well known & largely followed person on bluesky?

Pretty much, yes.
Developers for the older consoles employed all sorts of hacks and used all sorts of undocumented features.
Emulators of N64 would develop the emulator for something like 80% of the features of 80% of the games, then put in specific workarounds for the oddities of each game.
Which is why some games are better on specific emulators.

Also, decompilation lead to a greater understanding of the various glitches. DK64 and Mario 64 speedruns benefitted massively from this.
And also fun hack/mods like randomisers and hardcore modes, massively extending the games playability.

But yeh, the things devs did back in the day is bonkers

Ah, piss. So it is.
I'm going to blame it on autocorrect, even though we both know I just got it wrong

Not deporting illegal immigrants.
Deporting foreign dissidents.

I'm not sure on German history. Is this a thing that's happened before?

Maybe the amount of shoplifting hasn't changed that much, but reporting and detection of it is better?

You need to use /dev/null as a Service for windows compatibility.

It's probably that Lemmy isn't exactly mainstream (like Reddit), suggesting that people on Lemmy aren't normally oblivious to the ways of the internet. And most people on the fediverse are more adverse to the centralised mainstream social media companies.
Using Firefox would back up this assumption.

And that it has been widely known for a long time that Facebook tracks/collects/processes anything/everything it can get it's grubby hands on.

So, it reads - to me - along the lines of "how are you participating in the fediverse (suggesting some decent knowledge of internet/computer things) without knowing that Facebook is going to try and get everything (common knowledge) and that Firefox is going to try to prevent this (which is a prominent reason to use Firefox)"
