Well, non-flammable vents for one thing

From experience, a lot of companies tend to be propped up by like 10% of their developers doing 90% of the work, maybe 50% of developers doing the last 10%, and then like 40% of developers either doing fuck all or actively harming the codebases and making more work for the other 60%.

Hello, how do I join the 40%?
I want to coast for a while

I remember when the first looks at (or poster of) the sonic movie came out, and it was ripped to shreds.
A prominent visual redesign of sonic went viral, and - credit where credits due - the studio reworked the movie to adopt the changes.

Human teeth? I mean, really?

While I would love for the fact that republicans are seeing the potential over-reach of "trans bad" bills, this more seems like they are voting against a bill that punishes parents for their decisions in child care - as opposed to opposing a bill that punishes parents in their decisions for supporting their child.

The former is about what the parents think is right, the later is about respecting and supporting people.

The former could be in line with trans/gay conversion.
The latter is respecting humanity.

The whole "driving through the state" thing is also far too broad, considering there is no risk to life.
Driving through a state with state-illegal firearms, or quantities of drugs/alcohol/whatever that indicates intent to sell: I get it, you want a utopia without that bullshit (I don't get firearms, but "not my circus, not my monkeys"). Ultimately, these things have the potential to directly harm others.
Driving through a state with a kid you love, care for and support and some cop reckons they have the wrong genitals? Wtf. That doesn't hurt anyone. Wtf.

Cudos to the Rep Howell for being able to convince republicans away from "trans bad". For knowing how to talk to them, and speak to them in a way they can understand, and in a way that (potentially) changes their mind.
And cudos to those republicans that voted against this bullshit. For realising the bill for what it is.
Fuck the republicans that voted for it. I hope they invested in both Trump and Melania coin, got rug pulled, and are now watching the rest of their stock portfolio turn to ash

The fact that this bill was every floored is abhorrent. The fact that people think such a bill can be floored is abhorrent. The fact that it wasn't unanimously struck down is abhorrent

The Onion is slaying.

Is that http2? Cause http2 allows for reuse of a connection for additional requests.

This caught me out with envoy reverse proxy doing a few subdomains using a wildcard cert.
The browser would reuse the connection cause the cert authority and IP was the same, but envoy couldn't figure out how to route the request correctly. Absolute head scratcher!

Any older disk based console also required a memory card.
Pretty sure the controller was the first to have an analogue joystick.
I think a lot of the quirks of the N64 were because they were essentially first drafts. A lot of first, a lot of ground breaking tech.
Nobody knew what they were doing, at that time: nothing was wrong

I got a pixel 8.
I'm really enjoying it.
But the camera doubles the thickness of the phone where it is.
And the case I have for it just gave up, and made the whole phone+case that thickness.
I'd have liked the actual phone to be that big, have a bit more battery - maybe even replaceable battery, a 3.5mm jack at stuff like that.
At some point, things get too thin to hold and use comfortably. I think the Nintendo switch highlights this, whereas the steam deck is much more comfortable to hold.

That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd rematch with two chicks at the same time?

My phone has reverse wireless charging.
It's slow and terrible, but does work

If you made $61k per day for a 45 year career, you would make ~$1bn.
So, that's like a decent yearly salary PER DAY, from the age of 20 to the age of 65.

If $61k per year can support someone for a year, that career would support 365 people for 45 years.
And that's just $1bn over a full career.

If you earned $1bn per year, that could support 16,425 per year on a $61k salary. Thats a town of people.

I'd add "and backup anything you care about".
Because websites, webservices, content can all disappear, move, get deleted etc.
