I have a cat who plays with strings and only with strings. I better not put something noisy at the end of the string.

Is he scared by noise, speed, a part of you (you're big for him) when you play too close? I have another cat who can't stand human faces near him. He's a purring machine, but no faces.

And, yes, he may be just tired because of the URI, and anxious of all the new things even if he's sociable. It's one week, it'll be ok for both of you.

The world is not child sized. I believe you when you say being tall suck. I am 1,5m, something like 4"11. So, the size of a child. I fit in cars, but I need a cushion. Lot of counters are so high that only my head sticks out. Finding clothes sucks too. My feet often don't touch the ground when I'm seating on an adult chair. I have to climb so much things. I can't reach all my shelves, even with a stool. Sometimes, sinks are a little too high.

I'm absolutely ok with my size, and I really think being small is easier than being really tall, but the world is not made for people my size. Really not.

I live in France. I did nothing at all for months, but I had and wanted no social life. I returned to my computer because I wanted it, and to a dumbphone because of banks. Without a phone number, there is a lot of things you can't do with your bank, and I couldn't access to my bank account anymore. I know people with a landline phone and no dumb or smartphone and it's ok for the bank, for now.

I have mail, phone numbers, etc. But what's really annoying is people are always with whatsapp or signal and I can't. I feel left out of lot of things. I'm often the last to know social events.

Edit: and there are lot of services which requires smartphones, even state ones.

How pineapples grow amazes me. Ofc if you're from a place where pineapples grow, it probably sounds dumb, but I learnt that late in my life. Look:

Boiled little cubes of zucchini. No spice, no salt, nothing. It's for my cat, I have to do this all year round and it's annoying.

Same here. Trigger by perfume too. And effort. Intensive effort, migraine +.

But the most difficult is the permanent brain fog. I became dumber and slower since I have chronic migraines.

So yeah, migraines are my best debuff, event if I have others.
