I couldn't get it to work either. :/ Graphites Discord is usually the best place to get the best and fastest help with questions like this.

Graphite is not electron based!

It uses web technologies for the UI and thats it! The core of Graphite is written in Rust and runs directly on your hardware. So you get native performance.
The devs build it in a way that the UI and core are as independent as possible.
They could just replace the web stuff with a native desktop GUI toolkit in the future.

I read somewhere that they may even build the UI of Graphite within Graphite itself in the future. Similar to how Blender and Godot do it.

There has been another major update for Graphite.rs

For those who are not yet familiar with Graphite:

Graphite is a free, open-source editor for vector and raster graphics, currently available in alpha version. Get creative with a fully non-destructive editing workflow that combines layer-based compositing with node-based generative design.

Which European manufacturers can you recommend?
I have had to use Hikvision cameras myself (in the same setup as you described).
The cameras were okay, but I am hardly aware of any alternatives from the EU.

That's it. Now it works. Thanks so much!

Do you also have the issue with Thunder, that you can't see votes on any posts/comments?

Based on the roadmap, it sounds like assets will simply be dragged and dropped from the browser into the editor.

I haven't found anything about a direct integration into Godot itself yet.
But I can't imagine that it won't be a thing.
It would also be awesome if you could add third-party stores to Godot. Like repositories in Linux.

Solid update. It's great to see the Android editor making gamedev more accessible.

The progress on XR is also looking good.

And the easier Android-API calls are a massive quality-of-life win.

I assumed that most major anti-cheat systems now provide an option for Proton but many game developers don't enable it.

Dailymotion doesn't seem to have a comment function and I don't have an account to comment on YouTube. But feel free to quote my comment there.

I'll probably get some downvotes here for my criticism of the video, but anyway...

I understand that she can't or doesn't want to try out all the products, but in my opinion, she should then simply leave those products out.

Why does she review GOG when she only looks at the website and compares the price of one game with Steam? At least she mentions that GOG is DRM-free.

In her Linux Mint review, she only explains why she doesn't try it ("sustainability") and looks at the website. Then she says that Linux Mint offers many Big Tech tools and that "they should work on that." This shows a fundamental misunderstanding on her part of what an operating system is. One of her reasons against Mint is that she relies on a glitch-free workflow. Which also shows her bias against Linux.

Likewise with her OpenStreetMap review. She goes to the website, looks at the map, enters a few routes, and then explains why she's sticking with Google Maps. She either doesn't know or at least doesn't mention that the actual goal of OSM is to make map data freely available so that others can work with it. She doesn't say that there are some user-friendly apps that use OSM data.

I could go into many more reviews from the video, but then my comment will just be too long.

What I also don't like about the video is that she tries to find all products good, even though you can tell that she doesn't like some of them. I would find honest opinions much more authentic. You don't have to like everything just because it's European.

And the title of the video is simply a lie.

I don't think this decision was made because of Trump's policies. There were already decisions like this before Trump was in office. Unfortunately, nothing has really been effective enough to force Microsoft out of public administration.
