I’m pretty sure I was one of the only people in the world to get Super Hexagon’s final achievement. It was either .01% or .1%. I can’t remember.

Edit: I got to a computer and I no longer have that distinction, a full 6% of people have managed to get it in the past ten years.

Wouldn’t the “safety issues” mean that the project should go through? That owner states there’s tons of visibility issues, aren’t cars the ones with worse visibility in the first place? And then you add in higher speeds and worse stopping distance. It sounds like the street shouldn’t be open for cars at all!

To both host 130+ TB of data, and push 1 petabyte of traffic per month on any cloud provider would be, quite frankly, impossible.

Uhhh I’m sorry but catbox isn’t some special case here. Cloud providers are literally built to do this. Netflix literally hosted off of AWS for years. Also using cloudflare or another provider to reduce your needed bandwidth would make the costs sooooo much cheaper. And it probably would have stopped patreon from deleting them off of the platform since CF has CSAM detection and quarantining.

There’s plenty to be said about hosting things yourself, both good and bad, but in this case routing through CF really would have stopped a lot of this and reduced costs massively.

The US’s largest “share” of exports to china vs other countries are soybeans and jet engines. China has spent the past decade and a half working to diversify their imports so this exact thing wouldn’t destroy their economy.

None of the complexity of GitHub actions would be solved with any other configuration language. It needs to be a full scripting language at minimum. The problems with GHA have nothing to do with yaml.

I don’t have snippets set up for languages I’ve never touched before.

But copilot sucks. ChatGPT went super downhill. Claude is alright. If I know the language then it’s not that helpful. But if I don’t, or I don’t know the algorithm, then yeah, it’s super helpful.

I think most OSS code I have ever touched has been the cleanest code I’ve touched. Business critical code is always the spaghetti.
