Ok...so I'm going to hell but ... Frostbite being a discussion in the COLD WAR ... Ok I'll see myself out
I get the idea but there are several issues.

Intermediate products. For example I've used many automatic measuring microscopes, so if a block was 25mm +/- 1mm it would find the edge of both sides and calculate the distance between them and determine if part was good. These systems are very expensive (cheap ones could buy a car, expensive ones could buy a house). It's useful but I don't think anyone would make it without a benefit to them personally. Technically I could do the same with a drop gauge or even a ruler but wouldn't be as accurate or as fast. In a lot of cases you don't need that, for example making utensils like forks or spoons. But for example making gears in a transmission have as tight if not tighter tolerances.

Quanitity. Now let's make a house, yeah people might like the act of building. And we all agree houses are valuable, not monetarily but in shelter from weather and safety from animals and other humans. How many screws are in your house? If your answer is 3 digits you are wrong. Who is going to make all those screws? Now we are going to ignore machine screws which need a precise thread and just use wood screws. Do you think anyone's life dream is to make 10,000s of screws? If you find someone to make them, how are they going to feed their family over the months/years it will take them?

Quality. Going back to screws they need accurate threading and accurate heads. Without accurate heads a screwdriver won't work(think of removing a stripped screw) and without accurate threads it won't screw down or mate with the drilled hole. Who is going to verify that? If you "buy" 1000 screws and only 50 are usable what do you do? With no incentive to make good screws does the screw maker care? Who is going to verify the food you get is safe to eat?

Non-profit products. Let's say you love math. How are you going to survive? In history their were patrons who paid some of these people hoping there would be a reason in several years or decades. Some worked out, some didn't. But someone needed to say "yeah study how to solve that problem and I'll support you while you do". But they have limited resources too. In most cases these were basically investments hoping the end product would result in a net benefit. You can't survive with just math. You can't go into the woods and scream a theorum at a deer to get meat to feed your family. Now that math feeds into intermediate products which feed into final products which are valuable and that value gets distributed to all the earlier producers.
Yeah people like to make final products. Most people won't enjoy just sitting their useless. Some people like fixing/restoring stuff. But they use so so many stuff other people have done. Distribution is totally fucked up, granted. But for some people to do their dreams there are so many other people they rely on.
Years ago I was a young white guy with long hair and a short ish beard. Someone at my job decided I looked like shaggy from scooby doo. The name kinda stuck and became my nickname.
Few months later, I was at work and one of the guys came over and asked for some favor. I forget what it was but it wasn't like a 30 second thing, it was like a multi hour task. I denied the request and made some excuse. He then reached behind his back and pulled out a box of scooby snacks. They were like small graham crackers in the shape of a dog head like scooby. "Would you do it for a scooby snack?" Everyone around started laughing, even I started laughing.
I didn't end up doing it and the task was just made up for the joke. It was pretty funny though. He said he saw them over the weekend when grocery shopping for his family and thought the joke was too good.
Side note, they still make scooby snacks and the kid I'm basically raising actually really likes them.
Does it work on the frogs too?
Wholey shit only occurs if you do anal
One time I was sick. I was stuck in the bathroom rotating between sitting and kneeling. I texted my team lead and said I couldn't come in and I was taking a sick day.
He responded by claiming I was lying and was not really sick. I responded with a picture of the toilet bowl after several rounds(unflushed).
He responded with "get well soon"
Yeah that's fucked up. From two perspectives 1. Who ever wrote that library needs money to survive. 2. From the company point of view they wasted WAY more money on the development then the license. Hell if 1 developer spent a day to do it, they paid more than they would for the license
When I was younger my mom had cats(started normal 1 or 2, got insane... Highest number I remember is 37 but now she has 0). One cat was a hunter through and through. Basically there was a hall way that ended in the kitchen and my room was the first door from the kitchen. I was sitting at my computer desk, the cat was on top of the fridge. The cat jumped up the fridge, hit ground, jumped again reached my door frame, backfliped off it, caught a fly in it's front paws, landed, ate fly, looked at me like "aren't you impressed?"
Another time... Same cat actually... Another cat had a litter of kittens(old enough to walk and see etc but still kittens).. Hunter jumps in my living room window with a live chipmunk. Puts it down and calls the kittens. The basically encircle the chipmunk and the hunter removes its paw and steps back. Nothing happens. Chipmunk is terrified. One kitten walks up and swats it. Chipmunk runs. Hunter chases, grabs it and brings it back to the circle. This cycle repeats until the kittens have a good idea as to how to attack pray. Hunter kills chipmunk, at which point I intervene and put it outside. It's was like watching a savage show but it was also just nature playing course. Honestly really interesting... Not idolizing the violence and death but the watching one animal teach its family how to hunt and eat.
Great they removed them.... Did they report the images to the authorities?
Not to mention the amount of analog clocks that are just wrong. I work at a fortune 500 company, most clocks are digital and synced to a time server. Every analog clock is wrong. Just yesterday I walked through the cafeteria and glanced at the clock and it read 5:20... For a second I panicked and was like it can't be that late. I checked my phone, it was 3:06. The clock was just not set properly.
Ok... Really they removed that part or are you being sarcastic? I can't tell.
