I did but they just kept asking how many licks does it take to get the center of a lollipop?

I'm really tempted to ban you...

But seriously we can all have opinions. If you ever happen to be given these though let me know and I'll send you an address to ship them to

That is the correct way but I see so many people skip it cause either a. I need it powered so I can test what's wrong well it's already open and I found the problem. Or b. I didn't know that was a danger. For the example at my last job we created some titanium dust as a byproduct. If you don't know titanium dust when exposed to a oxygen can and will explode. I had a coworker who didn't respect that and acted careless cause it was a Saturday on overtime and he had other plans, good news he was already bald bad news he no longer had any hair on his head. No eyebrows, his beard stubble, his nose hair all gone because it flashed.

I had another coworker who tried to "help" me with an operation. I was working on one side of the machine and he tried to help clean the other side. He exposed oxygen into the piping, the dust flashed while my head was 6 inches away from the machine. I jumped back and minorly hurt my back(nothing serious, just like pain for a day) and could not hear for 3 days.

These were both with same company. Both were recorded and reported. So many people I talked to there didn't even know about the risk of explosion. Yes there was a sign and yes there was a procedure. Most people ignored them till I told these stories and stressed the risk of titanium dust.

Ok, that's insane. If you don't have enough feelings or love for your child to write a speech for their wedding... Then don't give a fucking speech at all.

I just checked owlyfans.com is already a site. Seems to just have a countdown which seems to be minutes at 1115 last I checked. If I'm right on minutes should be about 18 hours from now.

I know nothing about them or the content they plan... Just saddened someone else too the domain already.

Well... If you see doki doki literature club as porn, wtf??

Less mockingly, I also appreciated tank dating simulator. It's not a porn game but makes fun of them, all the "girls" are actually historical tanks and their friends/enemies as well as features/issues are historically accurate as best as I could tell. For example the French girl/tank keeps running into people(yes literally running into them) because the French tank she is modeled after had many issues with it braking system.

I agree but wouldn't limit it to government... Any organization. To get any real savings you need domain knowledge though. You need to know that the organization spends a lot of money on bits that break every day or two but if you reduced the feed rate and spin rate a bit should last a month easy.

You need to know that you have engineers spending up to 4 hours a week each to read a spread sheet and then write it on erasable boards for "management review" when it could be replaced by a TV where they project the spreadsheets or better yet a teams meeting where they share their screen.

You need to know that if you pay for laptops or a tablet and a systen for your mobile team members to enter information rather than a paper notebook and expect them to bring their own pen, you reduce errors, reduce their time required per task, have more data to analyze for even further savings in the future.

You need to know what actually takes times and money and how to correct that. You can't have that domain knowledge fore every government agency. Yes some things are universal but most of the big ones are specific.

Hell in a lot of cases, look at shipping cost. Can we do some predictive analysis and tracking so we don't need so much overnight delivery? For a lot of stuff, set a minimal amount in stock(say average amount you use in 2 weeks) and change the shipping from sameday/overnight to standard ground(typically 3-7 days).

I worked on a laser seam welder which basically was programmed in a mix of g code and I guess vb??

The fun part was variables could only be numbers between 100 to 999. So let's say you have a sensor and need to verify it's within a certain range. You could set #525 to 10 and #526 to 20 then say #527 = sensor 1 signal. Now lower down you verify it as if(#525 > #527 || #526 < #527){show error}

Now you could create each variable at the beginning with comment of what it was but then have to keep referring to the top to remind yourself what number was what. Or create the variable at first use so it was closer but now it's spread across the document.

I went with first case and just printed out the first 2 pages which listed all the variables.

Before you ask, I talked to the guy who wrote the language and made the system many times he confirmed you couldn't use variable names.

It's a great time as space age aka 2.0 just released. If you're the type to get absorbed into min/maxing stuff, remember to say goodbye and I love you to your family before launching factorio.

Fmla only means you won't get fired, not that you will be paid.

Yeah but it didn't answer the question of "can you connect them?".

Others in this thread have said yes but chat gpt ignored the question and replied with a description of the question. It's easy for a model like this to determine what a model name means(it seems complicated to humans but there is a logic to their naming).
