It's been about 20 years since I watched cable/broadcast TV in my home. But yeah way back tvs didn't have inputs for other devices, instead you had a box which you put in between the antenna or cable signal and your device which basically over wrote channel 3(why channel 3? I have no idea) with whatever your device was out putting. So if you wanted to play Nintendo you would change to channel 3 and see Mario or metroid.

Failure, I'm not a manager. I didn't take transportation into account since I've been luck to have short commutes most of my life.

Please tell me a single government service which is profitable... Isn't that the point of taxes and government services? Fbi, cia, fda, irs, cdc, dot, doe, library of congress aren't all of them not profitable?

True. Years ago(I think 2010 ish) I went to NYC comic con. Zombies were all the rage (pun intended) at the time. One of the panels I saw was "preparing for a zombie apocalypse" with a bunch of people from walking dead and a director at the cdc.

The cdc director basically made the point that you should be prepared. A zombie apocalypse is not likely/possible but if that makes you actually get prepared for an emergency go for it. You need access to fresh water, access to edible food, any medications for you or your family, a plan to escape, a place to meet up etc etc. You need those in a zombie apocalypse but you also need them in a hurricane, tornado, war, earthquake etc. All require the same things to survive, if pretending it's zombies helps you get prepared great, as long as you get prepared.

See cable management is great when done correctly. At my job we had a audit complaint that there were too many wires on the ground which would make it difficult to clean under them. Management told all the techs to do cable management so the wires were not dangling. The techs did as told so now we keep getting wires failing because they are super tight and strained. No one mentioned a service loop or anything of the sort. In addition now it takes like 2 hours to replace the bad wire because you have to undo all the wire management, replace the wire and redo all 400 Ip ties.

From my experience with a fortune 500 company, it's about using that money in the time span between checks. So say you have 100,000 in weekly paychecks due, if you invest that in a week you will technically make more than if you didn't(probably, maybe not this week)
