With age there comes certain changes that make you no longer do that... It won't get better but getting up is preferable to laying in a puddle.

Situations like this I always wonder what would happen if you lost your phone mid day. Say it fell in the rain gutter during lunch, do you just take the rest of the day off? Sorry boss I'm locked out of my office till Wednesday when my new phone should arrive...

I have never had or seen that, what's in it?

I had an apartment, I didn't notice signs of a pet but definitely a sad family. The guest bathroom had pictures of castles, princesses and knights drawn in crayon on side of sink cabinet next to toilet. There was a scene with a dragon breathing fire at a knight holding a shield towards the fire protecting a young princess from the flames. There was a large wine stain on balcony floor. Multiple sets of knuckle prints on the inside side of the door to the apartment. There was a cabinet hanging I've the kitchen island but there were several sets of screw holes to hold a wine rack which for some reason had to be redone several times, either too much wine and it ripped out or too much anger and it was torn off.

There must of been a couple with a young child having relationship issues...

Don't throw their shit around, just move it slightly. They are watching tv, reach for cup of tea... Its now 3 inches to the left. They go take a shower, shampoo is now at front of shower instead of back. Heading to work, their car seat is all the way forward and the back is angled forward. Randomly switch the direction of rotation of their bedroom ceiling fan.

No one will believe them. They will know something is going on. They tell friends and family but are told they are imagining it. They keep insisting it's real.

Do something too big and it ruins the psychological warfare. No one can deny their car was flipped over and thrown into the car next to. No one can deny the TV was ripped off the wall and smashed into the family dog. But if their spice cabinet just was re-arranged three times a week...

Yeah you're right about investments like pensions/401k whatever. I won't be a winner, we will see if I even will be a survivor. I don't think the major Ai companies will completely die because most of them have other revenue sources, Nvidia Microsoft etc will still be there and there stock will still be valuable. Anthropic may turn to ash, openai will probably be incorporated into Microsoft. The small companies selling bespoke Ai solutions may die or thrive depending on if they are actually producing something useful but likely won't have a tremendous effect on the stock market.

Just like the dot com bubble, useful companies with thrive and useless ones living off vc funding with die. I don't think Ai is like 3d tvs where it was everywhere and then no where. I have a feeling it's more like dot Com where there is so much over investment which will correct itself but won't go to 0.

I would go longer on the clothes but otherwise good advice. Typically I figure 1 year. For example if OP is in the northern hemisphere, it's winter and 2 months ago would be around Christmas time... He probably hasn't worn any shorts and maybe not any short-sleeve shirts since then. That doesn't mean he won't wear them in 3 months when it's warmer.

Typically I try to make it a early December tradition, anything I haven't worn in a year gets donated for needy families before the holidays. Everything else gets washed and hung up backwards. Next December if a piece is still backwards, it gets donated.

It's also about several us states. Plus why make it harder to access porn? It doesn't harm anybody. It may make children ask some questions you don't want to answer but overall... So??

I'm for regulating porn, actors and actresses should be paid, should be protected from sti, should not be forced or coerced. But access? Who cares?

You know every time I've had any medical work done I've digitally signed my consent for them to treat me and to bill me...

Can we also wipe out all medical debt and then sue the hospitals for treating without consent?

I moved halfway across the country(NJ to TX) 10 years ago, my move went ok but another co-worker was supposed to move about 3 months later. As he was packing the truck he heard on the news there were tornados near the new place and figured let me just check..

He called up his new apartment complex to confirm everything was OK... "we'll call you back" an hour later he got a phone call "sorry your apartment no longer exists"

He had 5 days to finish packing, drive 29 hours, find a new apartment, do all the paperwork, unpack, return the moving truck, and come to work at 6am the 6th day. I don't know how he did it but he did.

No matter how bad it is, it could always be worse.

My kid is severely autistic (like mostly non-verbal sever) and had this stuffed magenta (from blues clue) that he took everywhere(except school). He was in the children's hospital and they lost it over night.

Luckily we got him a new one (basically the same except ears and tail not ripped off and now had glasses?) and he seems to be be ok with the change, but it's hard to tell. Those few days waiting for it to arrive were hell though.
