Why do some people (i.e. white conservatives) think all Spanish speakers (especially native Spanish speakers) are Mexican? (lemmy.ml)
 

Seriously, I've been called an ILLEGAL for being from a Spanish-speaking country and coming to the U.S. with paperwork. Also, my friend's weird dad saw my name on a social media account when my friend was texting me and he said I was a "typical Mexican". I am a white European Spanish woman, why do people assume I'm automatically Mexican?

No, I’m on the site. I can’t log in either, it says the credentials are incorrect and when I went to local communities, it showed those from lemmy.ml

I tried to enter chachara.club but it didn't work. When I went to my account, the account he showed me was that of lemmy.ml. It says that I have no posts or comments on my account and I know that I have posts. What's going on?

I do. The is “el/la” and a is “un/una”.

In my dad’s language and my second language, it’s “the” and “a”

So, I was on a call with my fiancée and I started to get really tired.

I fell asleep and she whispered my name several times before saying it and having to shout it 😭 I feel so bad, she had a nightmare and wanted me to comfort her.

She felt bad about waking me, but i tell her to when she has a nightmare so I can be there for her. She says I look peaceful asleep though, so she hates doing it 😓

So Aiko (my fiancée) and I went to a restaurant and then I proposed to her at the restaurant. She said yes!! And we ate dessert! 💍

Apart from children, who usually don’t snore. People have told me I don’t snore at all. No one has told me I do and I even recorded myself asleep once.
