What is your preferred Babylon 5 watch order? (lemmy.zip)

I usually watch Babylon 5 every couple of years. I have mostly been following the Lurker's Guide Master Episode List because it includes the TV movies and also makes some minor chronological adjustments.

However I don't follow the Lurker's Guide exactly. Instead of watching Babylon 5: In the Beginning first I like to watch it after season four which is when it originally aired.

I also like to save The Deconstruction of Falling Stars for the very end of the series, as an epilogue to Sleeping in Light.

Sadly I have never made it all the way through Crusade. Maybe next time I'm ready to watch Babylon 5 again I will try starting with Crusade just to mix things up.

Does anyone else try to watch the show in a particular order?

Please note that the Lurker's Guide website is only available via http, your browser might raise an alarm but the site is safe to browse.

As per their Polish announcement article, the team from the Polish sci-fi and fantasy convention Pyrkon have confirmed Bruce Boxleitner and Claudia Christian as guests for next year.
Date: 14th-16th of July 2024
Location: Poznań, PL

(via Google Translate) The first guests of Pyrkon 2024!

We will reveal the secret to you and reveal the first guests who will appear at Pyrkon 2024:

Claudia Christian, American actress, known from the series Babylon 5 and Columbo , as well as many voice roles (animation Atlantis - the lost land , Blood of Zeus and games: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim , Fallout 76 and titles from the World of Warcraft ... and many other!).

Bruce Boxleitner, an American television actor and film producer who became best known for such television series as Babylon 5 and How the West Was Won. Surely you also associate it with the cult film production from 1982 - the sci-fi classic "Tron" (but also the new installment from 2010). Bruce is also a voice actor.

Altho the 2024 announcement is only in Polish, here you find some general info on the Pyrkon in English.

Welcome to /c/babylon5!

Babylon 5 is a sci-fi space opera that ran from 1994 to 1999. Pitched as "a five year story, a novel for television," Babylon 5 featured a serialized story before it was common for primetime television to do so.

The serialized nature of Babylon 5 means it is eminently spoilable. If you have not seen Babylon 5 but are interested, you may encounter spoilers here. You've been warned!

Watch Online

Babylon 5 is available on HBO Max.
It can also be purchased on iTunes, Google Play, and YouTube:
