0.5mm gel pen and an awkward 12cm x 7cm bit of notepad paper + waiting for appointments

Watercolor and color pencil

probably i should have gone with lines instead of stipples for shading and/or used finer point pen. but lives and learns right. it was pretty fun to try and i hope to get better at it so i can use scrolls for decorative borders & whatnot.

(edit to add: i know there's a flourish missing some shading but this is shitty art share after all)

still don't know what i am doing with this watercolour set. maybe one day tho.

I used oil and wax pencils with a solvent for blending. Please critique.

I think body language would probably help sell the expression a bit.
Some of these probably need a do-over but I'm not a great drawer so it is what it is for now.

Based on a real plant called sealwort.

i enjoy how wonky & wrong this came out (but will return to using a pencil undersketch most of the time)
