I have a couple questions:
- The sidebar basically says all OC is welcome, but the idea of the community seems to be explicitly about art which lacks technical proficiency. Do we leave all submissions without scrutiny, leading to any popularity of the community ending up with technical proficiency posted anyway—defeating the entire purpose—or do we draw lines in the sand about stuff that's "too good" to post here?
- Is this community intended to be exclusively genuine, or is stuff intentionally lacking proficiency okay too? Think like quick doodles, shitposts, maybe drawing with your foot for fun.
- Are you okay with someone taking some control over the presentation of the spirit of the community (e.g. sidebar, pinned rules post, graphics)? Obviously you and the community itself can still be directly involved in how things work, but as a baseline to get things off the ground.
At a glance, I could see this community being a great way to have zero stakes fun doodling and experimenting, along with genuinely inexperienced creatives who want to share themselves, without feeling like there's a high technical bar to entry just from scrolling the feed. If that sounds like what you envisioned, let me know, and I can help out if you'd like. If it doesn't, tell me what is the vision, and maybe I can still help out after some communication with you.
