Ooh this sounds interesting, I'm game
Alright, let's get to it then. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Pretty much where I am now: retired, spending my time on fitness, healthy cooking, hubby, and hobbies. Worried about aging. Hopefully both parents will still be alive.
Well that narrows it down quite a bit. What did you do before you retired?
For most of my career I worked in academia as a researcher and analyst, and I've also done some consulting outside of academia. It's a pretty niche field so to protect my identity I don't want to be more specific than that.
Ok, that's understandable. Honestly, i think i can make a guess right now as a lot of the information you gave me is quite specific to an age group. Maybe between 47 and 57. If i had to guess, I'd say 52
Ooh, close but not quite there. I'm 42!
What the hell? How have you retired from academia at such an early age?
Ha! Everyone asks that. No kids, small house, zero debt. We try to live somewhat cheaply so we don't need much money.
Sounds like it worked out great. Thanks for playing man!
