I still can't believe they named her Jet Reno, because it just makes me think about Janet Reno.

The thing is, I love Jodie Whittaker and was so excited for her Doctor. But her companions were so bland. Ugh just super boring. And I couldn't keep up with the lore for some reason. It just didn't hold my interest and I was so sad about it. :(

IBM made the Selectric, which was a pretty popular line.

Makeup is "chemicals that destroy your skin"? What on earth.

I know this is pedantic, but that's a cross, not a crucifix. The difference is that a crucifix has jesus on it.

I only mention this because I was hoping to see a bedazzled jesus corpse and was super disappointed.

Is there a green gatorade?

Who the fuck would listen to a USPS podcast??

Has anyone tried the On The Rocks flanker for Angels' Share? I love both the original Angels' Share and the Paradis flanker, so I'm intrigued by On The Rocks. If you've tried it, is it well balanced, or is it overly zesty? I like Paradis so much because it brings some sweetness into the mix which I think gives a nice counterbalance. But On The Rocks has citrus notes which will probably do the opposite. If you've tried it let me know your thoughts!

Since the latest update, I've noticed that images aren't displaying properly in two ways:

  1. The thumbnails no longer display within the post body, I now have to click on them to view them
  2. Images in comments are cut off rather than sizing to fit the screen

The screenshot below demonstrates both issues.

I've just learned about Zoologist Perfumes and I'm intrigued. Some of the scents sound really interesting but it's like 9 bucks per sample. Have you tried them before, and what's your opinion? I'd welcome any recommendations you can give!

A month or so ago, I was on a quest for a great peach fragrance, and ended up stumbling on 1969 by Histoires de Parfums, which isn't a simple peach fragrance, but does have peach notes. It sounded amazing and so on a whim I blind bought it (got the 0.5mL which is $50). I'm so happy I did! It's complex and sexy. I'm not the most sophisticated when it comes to describing fragrances - it's hard for me to pick out specific notes sometimes - but I'd describe this as starting out spicy/musky and mellowing to a creamy, very alluring spiced sweetness in the drydown. It's sensuous, long-wearing, and I seriously can't get enough!

The description is:

Top notes: fruits of the sun, peach

Heart notes: rose, white flowers, cardamom, clove

Base notes: patchouli, chocolate, coffee, musk

Also the packaging is gorgeous:

I'm going to check out some of their other fragrances!
