I went to the free food market today and now I have way too many cucumbers. I still have plenty of pickles so I'm not sure what I'll do with them all.

I also got lots of cabbage so will be making a batch of sauerkraut. Summer fruits must be starting too, as I got some peaches - they are all bruised so I will cut them up for overnight oats (along with some apples which are also quite bruised and a punnet of strawberries).

Latest coles magazine has a recipie for smashed cucumbers, which might be fun to try. Uses 8 cucumbers smashed cucumbers paragraph 3 on recipie

That looks very doable, I might just give it a try.

Therapeutic too - I loooove whacking things with a rolling pin. The very stuff of fantasy.
