Jesus that lineup for When We Were Young 2025 should come with a NSFW warning, sporting a semi in the office. Ok, thats a lie. But I did gasp and moan slightly.

That line up is... I mean... F me dead thats must of punk rock royalty right there. That is gonna go OFF! I hate festivals, but if that weren't in the states I'd be considering it.

Ok, so I'm old. I only know the first five acts on this list. And Blink 182 is probably the only act I'd pay to go see.

[โ€“] indisin@aussie.zone 5 points 3 weeks ago

I'd bet that if you know the first 5 then you know >50% of the others but have forgotten about them and their tracks <3

[โ€“] lodion@aussie.zone 5 points 3 weeks ago

But... Offspring! Weezer!

[โ€“] bacon@aussie.zone 4 points 3 weeks ago

Iโ€™LL BE JUST FINE

Panic! with the whole band, not just Brendon and his solo act?!!

[โ€“] Catfish@aussie.zone 3 points 3 weeks ago

I know 8, the others are utter mystery. 2 Iโ€™d pay for if they were convenient.

Simple plan and yellowcard are old as. Avril Lavigne as well.

[โ€“] MeanElevator@aussie.zone 4 points 3 weeks ago

Damn, that's a lineup and a half. I feel old as shit.

Dude you weren't kidding lol

Grew up on early offspring. Would love to see them play some of the early stuff.

I saw them at soundwave back in... '13 I think? Lead singer was drunk as fuck and sounded like he'd been gargling gravel sadly.

Holy shit, now how do I convince my partner to fly to the states with me for this?

Edit1: working on convincing my partner and friends, money is no object for that line up. Don't wanna go on my own though.

Edit2:

oh nice! I brought the tour hoodie but only when inside saw they had a couple of lyrics hoodies that were WAY cooler.

[โ€“] indisin@aussie.zone 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah those lyric ones were awesome, but my partner played the voice of reason with: "indisin, are you ever going to wear those? indisin how're you going to carry all of this? indisin, please pick just one. indisin, you don't need the bages. Yes indisin, we can play on the arcades and look at the instruments if you pick just one".

Still working on getting her to go to the US for the festival... and my friends... and my ickle sis and BIL in the UK. No joy so far but early days, so might end up being one of you lot with a free ticket.

Hope you enjoyed the blink gig btw! Weirdly I actually preferred seeing Ash at the Croxton and I wasn't an Ash fan but that gig just had a vibe and I say that as someone who thought the blink gig was epic.

yeah I had a blast. Never thought I was gonna see the 3 of them together, so grateful I got to. Saw Mark and Tom back in 2013 I think it was and it was good... but music bowl is a shit venue IMO.

[โ€“] indisin@aussie.zone 1 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah the music bowl is a shite venue but then year Falls was hosted there was actually super fun. We saw them at Rod Laver most recently but you'll be super jelly of this, as I'm originally from the UK I've seen them loads of times, and also with Skiba filling in. No matter what they always put on an amazing show, I've seen Travis play the drums upside down whilst fire is going off.

We've also now got tickets to see them in Vegas :D
