I hate that he is going the Zuckerberg route, but Democrats don't have the best record on privacy & so I can understand to an extent why a VPN provider might not be as friendly to the party many of its users were expecting them to.
I also have on several occasions expressed my own doubts about Proton prior to this & been attacked by the same groups on the left acting like it was sacrilegious to even question them.
It is amusing to watch them suddenly turn on something because the person said something about politics that they don't agree with.
I'm glad you find it amusing. Have you considered the reasons why somebody might want a private and encrypted email? Perhaps a person living in a country where their life would be at stake if the contents of said email account were to become public? Do you think that might apply to people in a country where the person being praised by Andy said he wants to strip many minorities of their rights?
