Yup, took off soon after COVID hit
Technically it was released like 2018 or something, but it wasn't popular untill then
I wonder if the Henry Stickmin collection was the reason it took off
Steam says the collection was released August 7th, 2020. If I remember correctly it was earlier in the year that amogus popped off. But, then again, it has been almost 5 years...
Edit: I was wrong, Google trends shows the initial bump right at August 2020. Just misremembering
