A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.

Awesome. I have tried it for a hit and i am posting this from the app. Seems great so far.

In mlem I couldn’t open and zoom images. Made it really hard to read screenshots. Upvoting seems to be more consistent than mlem where it wouldn’t upvote sometimes. Also less crashing and no wall of text on the home page.

Some stuff I would love to see is saving posts in folders. that’s what I used to do to show memes to my wife before bed and now she complains there’s no memes to see😅 I was saving posts to the reading list with mlem and cannot seem to do this with memmy for now.

Some tweaks in the UX would be nice, for example I prefer having the community and OP on top of the post, but that’s minor stuff. Also, not all posts show from which instance the community is from, that would be nice to have as well.

Great work from the dev and thanks OP for sharing.

I can feel that great things are coming to the Lemmy community as a whole 😄
