A recent survey shows no native birds are seriously at risk in the capital anymore, and regionally bird numbers are soaring sky high.

It's such a cool thing to have Zealandia in the middle of Wellington, providing a place for native birds to thrive without predators. And it's very cool for people who live nearby who can see these birds at their house!

That's one of the things I definitely miss most about living in Karori, so many cool birds just hanging out and perching around the house.
