Hi all, we've been having daily threads in !wellington@lemmy.nz but I thought I'd branch it out to !newzealand@lemmy.nz.

It doesn't have to be me making the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there's no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it's just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

Winter has repainted our footpath a crisp white this morning. Guess I'm going to find out how well I can walk in my fancy snowboots, since I don't trust my own sense of balance and falling in front of the main arterial route during morning commute would be mortifying.
