Rules:

- No memes, trolling, misinformation, or low-effort posts/comments (including reposts). If you see posts like this that anger you, do not engage. Report, block, and live a happier life than they do. Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules and use critical thinking when reading, posting, and commenting. Users that repeatedly have comments or posts removed, weaponize reports, or violate the code of conduct, will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. MODERATORS
As far as I can tell, it boils down to some combination of three reasons: they're bigots; they're stupid; or they're selfish. Bigotry is self-explanatory. If they actually believed that he would do good things and help the country, then they're clearly stupid. If they didn't care how his actions hurt others but thought they'd help them financially, then they're selfish. Now, if they're selfish and not wealthy (wealthy being not like two houses and a couple millions in savings but rather own a couple yachts and an island) then they're also stupid on top of being selfish.
The United States has a good deal of cultural rot. As a culture, we're sick and have been for decades (and that's not even getting into the nation's original sin of slavery/racism). Carter rightly pointed it out in his "malaise speech." A large number of Americans are simply incapable of thinking about others outside themselves. We are incapable of taking on large projects for the collective good. And because of that, we defunded education for decades leading to the stupid, selfish population of today.
Reminder of how selfish people are: the pandemic. People couldn't fathom why they were expected to take precautions to avoid spreading it to other people
The worst part is that if you're selfish, you'd think Biden would be better. I miss that 30% increase in my stock portfolio vs the 25% decrease for no reason.
