I can't WAIT for Chuck Schumer And His Democrats to do LITERALLY NOTHING to Stop this or Slow it Down in ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM!
"We've tried nothing, and we're all out of ideas. They win this round, but we aren't giving up, and will continue to resist all efforts to end their reign of terror. Send money."
"So we took the money and did nothing with it to stop Trump. Another $5 this time will surely let us kick the football, Charlie Brown. Give us your paycheck, so we can stop Trump, unlike the last 8 years!"
Here he and Jeffries are now:
Apparently the bill passed already.
Passed the house not the senate. The filibuster in the senate is the main hurdle for the bill. That's what requires 60 votes meaning it'd take at least 7 votes from dems
Dems have shot plenty of things down this term via the filibuster though the CR was a notable horrible exception. For instance, they successfully filibustered an anti-trans legislation earlier in march. There is no threat of a shutdown here if they don't let this bill get through. It's a tall order for it to get through. Still call your senator and tell them to vote against cloture for it
the 10 dinos might vote for it in the senate(we know there is at least 10 of them)
Theyre actually passing bills? That's adorable that they think they are actually doing something. They havent realized that we've entered the era of Ruling by Executive Orders, and their jobs are only ceremonial.
it passed in the house, but it's extremely unlikely to get 60 votes in the senate
10 DINOS are currently in the senate, 4 dinos in the house voted for the bill. alot of them never wouldve never been elected in a reddish area, if they dint vote right wing some of the times. manchin was just blatantly obvious, as was sinema because they were lightning rods to shield the rest of the Dinos from getting primaried.
If dems had power in congress then none of this would be happening in the first place.
If they wielded power when we gave it to them, they might not have lost.
