Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

Have you upgraded your internal storage? How did it go? Did you reinstall steamOS from scratch or clone the original M.2/eMMC?

I decided it wasn't worth it.

I bought the 256 GB deck. That filled up fairly quickly obviously and I looked at the alternatives. It turns out that if you buy the right SD Cards they're basically the same speed as the SSD, so I just bought a 1TB Samsung EVO and it's been great. Also, I didn't have to lose the existing 256 Gb of space that I had and it was zero effort.

Maybe one day I'll upgrade to a 2TB internal, or maybe I won't.

While game loading times are about the same, I definitely notice a big speed difference when installing games on the SSD vs microSD.
