If the long term trend of both sides has been to screw over citizens does it really matter how many times one side has fucked up in a given time frame?

Yeah you're right there's no difference between jumping off a building and using stairs. The long term solution is to get to the bottom, does it matter how?

Great analogy, its almost like there is an elevator but most voters are so stupid they choose to take the stairs or jump off the building.
