I love DEVO, however I was definitely not aware of this. Mark Mothersbaugh added "We Smell Sausage" in reverse on several of his projects. It's a nice little Easter egg considering the controversy of backwards masking in 70's and 80's music. Prince did something very similar at the end of Darling Nikki on Purple Rain.

Everything he does is gold. Those short sketches he used to do on Yo Gabba Gabba were cool too.
