Based on life experience, the magic sky daddy people are the ones more likely to not return the cart, there's no punishment for not doing so.

It's not a sin, so there's really no reason not to leave them in the middle of a parking space. Plus it creates more work for those lazy store workers who are always getting in my way while I'm shopping. /s
