I lived long enough to watch gangsters turn into posers
Whenever I see Eminem im like “dude smile, you’re a 50 something billionaire, nobody thinks you’re hard”
That's so true lol. My 10 year old daughter almost shit herself when I told her he's literally a grandpa.
also like, he's already been hard and genuine, why does he need to keep trying? he made it, he got popular and make music about how his life sucked and whatnot, just retire.
Greed is a hell of a drug.
Are gangsters preferable? Doesn't sound like either end of that spectrum is great, but I'd prefer my suburb be full of posers.
My gangster neighbors are cool people. Certainly better than your average neighbor.
But... What crimes do they do to qualify as gangster then?

A lot of people get confused with the tryhards that dress flashy and show everyone their money as if they are a Hollywood hip-hop celebrity.
They're nothing like that; you'd think they're just ordinary people at a glance.
They got their crip walk down and are really good at hand shakes?

They could be hood.
Its authentic. Snoop came by the gangster lifestyle honestly, he grew up that way.
Changing your views to be more progressive, when you are person with a public image, may be disingenuous. I'm not going to form an opinion on his true motives, but plenty of people will.
Frankly, it’s the most “gangster” thing he’s done in a while. Most gangsters are bigots. It’s a low education background
Most of them are "studio gangsters" who tell imaginary stories they just make up.
They were all just used and marketed by businessmen.
