MODERATORS
Pretty hard to lose an election against Donald Trump but they've managed to do it twice.
Maybe they should've ran a primary.
Maybe they shouldn't have both sides-d every goddamned issue against their own fucking side. Trans rights. Palestine. Healthcare. Immigration. Housing.
maybe they should've found a spine at some point in the last decade?
Maybe they shouldn't have wheeled out liz fucking cheney in support of kamala harris?
maybe they shouldn't have fucked bernie out of a run a cycle back.
Democrats are not your friends
I don't disagree with most of this, but saying 'beating Trump should have been easy' is kind of missing the point, too.
Democrats missed all the signs that the country is in crisis, and ran their typical playbook anyway. Trump, for all his stupidity, actually saw the panic in the voting base and mirrored their frustration back at them.
It was never going to be "easy" as long as they were pretending nothing was fundamentally wrong.
They may not be my friends, but they are my allies.
You can be with us or against us. The two sides are fascism and anti-fascism. If you refuse to choose, the fascism choice is made for you.
Fight for primaries, sure. Primaries are important and there are choices to be made. But when it comes to actually fighting the Nazis you're either with us or against us.
Tell that to the Democrats, who are currently not fighting fascism.
It's because they are fascist.
They pretend to be.
He got the second most votes of any candidate ever in 2020, or have I misremembered?
