What’s this “we” assertion bullshit?

[-] ozymandias@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 10 months ago

the election was hacked and stolen…

[-] devolution@lemmy.world 34 points 10 months ago

Unfortunately I don't believe it was. Go on Next door some time and you'll see why.

[-] ozymandias@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 10 months ago

not sure what state you’re in but:
a) russian trolls can post on next door too.
b) election truth alliance

[-] devolution@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago

Florida and the people I've seen are real. Really stupid.

[-] TheMadCodger@piefed.social 5 points 10 months ago

How many times did you let Florida Man vote?

[-] devolution@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago

Too god damned many.

[-] ozymandias@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 10 months ago

Florida is certainly chock full of stupid people.
i think nextdoor tends to concentrate a certain type of person

[-] chosensilence@pawb.social 9 points 10 months ago

it was. Election Truth Alliance has some compelling public data.

[-] devolution@lemmy.world 12 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

To the extent of discounting Muslims, latinos, white people, and non voting or third party voting tankies???

I want to believe as much as the next person that this was a fully successful voter fraud, but Americans are truly that sexist against women and tankies are adamant, even now, that Gaza is the hill they want to die on.

[-] chosensilence@pawb.social 8 points 10 months ago

please look at the publicly available data. all i’m asking. check out what they are presenting.

[-] mycodesucks@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago

That's to say nothing for the idea that if the election WERE stolen, it would be an uncharacteristic display of technical competence the likes of which we've never seen from this administration before or since.

[-] chosensilence@pawb.social 3 points 10 months ago

nobody said the Trump administration was behind it and people like the ETA don’t make guesses. the information is clear: the election’s data was manipulated.

[-] grue@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Election fraud, not voter fraud. There's a difference.

Namely, voter fraud is thing Republicans falsely accuse the Democrats of in order to deflect from the election fraud they're actually committing.

[-] EndlessNightmare@reddthat.com 6 points 10 months ago

Online aside, I meet plenty of MAGA out in the wild.

What is it the kids say? ‘Cope.’ Just like us in the UK after Brexit, you need to just face up to who you really are as a country. You re-elected Trump in free and fair elections after Jan 6th and Georgia. We voted to leave the strongest most influential trading block in the world because we’re idiots. Face it, accept it, start to fight it.

[-] ozymandias@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 10 months ago

nice brand new account talking only about how bad the us and uk are, with zero other interests.

[-] SlurpingPus@lemmy.world 8 points 10 months ago

Funny how when it's Russia, every Russian must suffer for not overthrowing Putin, but when it's the US, suddenly “oh no, it wasn't me”.

[-] DupaCycki@lemmy.world 0 points 10 months ago

Americans when a dictatorship with no free elections invades another country: "It's the people's fault! Just revolt and take him down!"

Americans when their democratically elected leader commits the worst imaginable atrocities for the 50th time in a row: "It's- It's not our fault. We voted for the other, slightly less fascist candidate! What else can we do?"

All the freedom. Zero responsibilities. That's what 200 years of no public education does to a nation.
