Playing Need for Speed: Most Wanted on my PS2 and Sony Trinitron, even the calendar is form 2009

The room at my parents house seems permanently stuck in mid 2000s, too bad I can't take the TV with me

Dont fret!!

First , put a video DVD in. This will actually recalibrate the laser and then your DVD games will play. Ive done it.

If that doesn't work, adjust the laser power potentiometer. Its really not hard.

If that fails, you can stream games off your desktop or nas via Ethernet !! Its a bit involved but not bad.
