Citizenship is not determined at birth in most places, that's a USA thing. Most countries do "by blood" citizenship where you inherit the citizenship of your parents. Assuming you're born in Britain, and your french dad and english mom can be bothered to take Baby-You down to the french embassy to renew your citizenship every now and then, they can cop a second citizenshio for you.
Yeah but it's usually determined by your parents citizenship at the time of your birth. And the Untied States does both, that's why Ted Cruz is still considered a born citizen even though he was born in Canada. And Canada also does both, being born in Canada makes you a citizen with some exceptions and being born to Canadian parents makes you a citizen with some exceptions. I think most countries actually do both
