Bikini Bottom Municipal Code §33-07: Anti-Tankie Ordinance Residents are prohibited from circulating tankie ideology or other authoritarian propaganda on Bikini Bottom Twitter. Offenders will be permanently banned from BPT by the BBPD faster than Plankton is ejected from The Krusty Krab.

Rule 3 - Please no reposts within the last couple days, at least

Rule 4 - All posts should be at least above a "Squirdward-krusty-krab-shift" level of effort

Hi everyone! I've been meaning to make this post for many weeks now, but haven't gotten around to it.

I wanted to put forth to the BBT community if we should migrate off-world to a different instance. It's been something on my mind for a lot of reasons to include LW being just too big and making things centralized making me not want to contribute to my own comm

However because of recent events regarding LW (https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/comment/25750862 https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/67858553) I'm now getting this done

So what say ye BBT, move the BBT comm to another instance (probs lemy.lol) or stay, there will be 2 comments. One for stay and one for go, upvote your chosen option. I'll be checking votes, so no plankton shenanigans :) the highest upvoted in a few days will win

The same applies with the Swastika, no? It has been a Buddhist symbol for thousands of years, but fascists are trying to steal it, and the original culture would 'hate' them.

Kinda, but the symbols are different, albeit slightly

The buddist symbol is flat with a common variation having 4 dots in the inner corners, with the Nazi shit stain symbol being rotated 90 degrees so it sits on its corner and is never displayed with dots (afaik)
