That doesn't really help. I need to know how to completely disable updates on my phone.

You can't disable updates to Google Play Services.

Thanks for clarifying that this only affects Google Androids.

Androids without Google are unaffected

What are you talking about? I never see ReCAPTCHA on my degoogled android.

Probably because my browser has JS disabled. Broken websites are broken websites. Yawn.
