AWS hosts a wide majority of internet content. if you have used the internet today, you would have a 90% chance to have used an Amazon product.

also, Amazon is more than an online retailer and provide distribution and logistical support. I have bought items from eBay that were shipped and delivered from Amazon. doesn't stop there either, Amazon is one of the predominant worldwide shipping suppliers. there's a chance that if you bought anything imported, it came from Amazon shipping.

a company as profitable as Amazon became profitable because they maintain a diverse service line. you use them even if you don't intend to do so.

going out of your way to not use one of their many services is commendable, though has little impact on their quarterly profit goals.

They don't have the same stranglehold in my country, and despite being here, I'm basically a Luddite

I live a very simple life with as little tech as possible outside of my electric car and solar powered house

My TV is fifteen years old, which is great because it doesn't connect to the internet, and it's seldom on anyway
