People say "your ass" in place of "you", "my ass" in place of "me", "his ass" in place of "him", and "her ass" in place of "her"

Personal pronouns are basically words performing as placeholder noun phrases. So it isn't surprising they can be replaced with actual noun phrases in some situations.

Not all, though. Or at least ~~I don't think so~~ my arse doesn't think so.
