Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

"What is democratic anarchism? Democratic anarchism uses the materialist teachings of Momala Harris and extrapolates the fact that in order to organize anarchy, we mush work with the largest leftist org; the democratic party. All the great anarchists of before have lacked one crucial thing: the ability to appeal to independents and center right republicans We plan to remedy this. Through centrism and means tested neoliberal policy, we can work together to compromise with all sides of the political spectrum to get the votes needed to abolish the state and fend off the tnkes through maintaining a strong border and increased funding to border control. By spreading anarchism in the marketplace of ideas we can convince all dirty statists of anarchism with nonviolent structured debate. We can fight the state by sending a message with our inflatable chicken costumes and dildo races. No kings protests? how about "no leaders" protests. We will fight for anarchism with the support of our local heros (police officers and reformed ICE agents) and get permits for our valiant fights against the state. Policy: 1% supertax on the Epstein-Diddy class Public execution of Bernie Sanders and Elon musk (both extremes are equally bad) Ban on violent protest (we must follow the footsteps of MLK) Nancy Pelosi statues in every neighborhood Modarate transgender policy 25% income tax on the lowest tax bracket (compromise with the moderates) Workers of the world, vote!"
What a bunch of bullshit, although the "spreading anarchism in the marketplace of ideas" is actually something we should do. Focus on the fact that anarchism is mostly about leaving people alone to self-organise and that as long as you aren't hostile toward us we can actually coexist. (Although we will absolutely criticise any archic structures). Most anarchist organisation is focused on prefiguration anyway.
After all if anarchism isn't possible then the liberals have nothing to fear.
I think the critique there isn't against trying to convince people that anarchism is possible, but specifically the "marketplace of ideas" framing. Because the "marketplace" framing kinda implies that our ideas are on the same level of genuineness, correctness, and backing by power as everyone else's ideas, which is clearly not the case, e.g. the fact that liberalism is the de facto and de jure monoculture in the West.
Thank you! :)
