I got the box set recently with the original movies. I do not care much for the prequel, neither book nor movie version. The prequel destroys parts of the continuity and integrity of the original work.

Still think the original Hunger Games books and movies hold up and they are somehow more relevant today than they were when they were released.

It's too bad that people look down on them for being girly movies, when they actually tap into some pretty complex topics that will never get old. Also, Jennifer Lawrence is a great actress and her performances in these movies are fantastic. Just saying.

I will never get over than scene in the final movie where she yells at the cat in her old house. That shit hurts.
