I had a friend I would have described that way. The kind of dude who seemed to know and be friends with everyone, and comfortable in any large social setting, but also seemed to genuinely enjoy just hanging out 1 on 1 and watching a movie or some other low energy activity with my introverted ass. It felt good to have someone with those great people skills who was happy to match my energy now and then.

So yeah, I know exactly what they meant, and I can tell you from experience how much they appreciated you!

I am so glad you had a friend like that.

Somewhere along the way, I found myself collecting friends who didn't seem to "fit in" anywhere else.

Now, more than ever, I try my best to create or hold a space for people to feel welcome and safe.

I hope that you still have the people and space to reliably recharge!
